Georgia Freiha-Berkhout is a photographer and film director based in London and working everywhere.

A woman with curly blonde hair wearing a pink jacket takes a photo with a camera in a desert landscape with sand dunes and rocky formations under a clear blue sky.

Georgia’s camera has taken her from the mountains of the Caucasus to the coast of Lebanon, always drawn to the stories that mainstream media overlooks.

Her films and photography explore displacement, resilience, and cultural identity. She approaches each story by centring the agency of the subject, becoming a conduit for their voices.

Having lived and worked across the Middle East and speaking Lebanese Arabic and Spanish, she brings cultural sensitivity and access to stories others cannot reach.

Clients range from large purpose driven brands such as Ben & Jerries, to luxury eco-hotels such as ENVI Lodges, as well as grassroots NGOs.

When not behind the camera, Georgia can be found mountaineering in remote locations or exploring desert landscapes, always seeking the stories of people who inhabit these extraordinary places.
